When ExecTech began consulting my dental practice, we were already producing $961,974 per year, which is high for a single doctor practice with one hygienist. However, during the last 12 months, our Production increased by 12% to $1,095,357 and profits increased by 26%.
That is all well and good, but the true value to me is in the growth I have experienced in leadership skills, and the more restful sleep I enjoy, knowing my business is running more smoothly than ever in my long dental career. It seems as though the practice is now on auto pilot.
The staff is well trained. Each position is well defined, and there are daily statistical reports that show the production of each position. I think the supervisory role data I have received from ExecTech is the most valuable part of my training.
In addition to my meetings with my consultant, there have been weekly coaching sessions from the coaching staff. The coaching sessions deal with People Skills like communication, identifying the emotional tone of those around you, dealing with difficult personalities, prioritizing, financial planning, employee relations and on and on.
I feel I have become a much more effective leader; certainly a more confident one . . . and yet I’m sure I have only scratched the surface in understanding and applying the extensive data contained in the material I have received from ExecTech.
Could you gain the knowledge on your own from manuals and books and DVDs? Of course, but the vast majority of people need to have their feet held to the fire, or else procrastination could very well extend the learning curve beyond those critical periods that determine success or failure.
The time and money invested with ExecTech has been well spent and I know the lessons learned will serve me in the future ventures I conduct.
